It’s sometimes reported by users that after authenticating their Instagram, they don’t receive a code.
In a larger company, it’s easy to lose track who’s email owns the account, or the phone number attached.
Generally, Slide will send the code to the email address on file. How do you find out which email is on file? We’ve made a short video below showing you. Simply go to your Instagram profile in the app, click “edit profile” and at the bottom, there’s a label for “Private information”. This is where you’ll find your phone number and email address.
Check the inbox for that email on file. Then check the spam folder.
As soon as you start authenticating your account, Instagram should be sending your emails notifying you of the new logins, because our servers have never accessed your account before. Ensure you’re getting these emails so you can easily find the code to finish the authentication process.
If you don’t have an email on file, the phone number on file will instead receive a call or text with the code.
